Rio Negro Sport Fishing Club - Panama [Visit Website]

We offer one of the finest and most unique sport fishing packages in Panama. Our lodge is located near the mouth of Panama's Rio Negro, about midpoint on Panama's Pacific West coast of the Azuero Peninsula.

This is a part of Panama's famed "Tuna Coast", positioned between the largest mangrove estuary in the Western Hemisphere and open deep blue Pacific waters. Our strategic location provides an excellent opportunity for year round deep water offshore and near shore sport fishing for a vast range of big saltwater game fish.

The lodge facility is accessible from Panama City by automobile, about a 4-hour drive. The fishing grounds include remote Panamanian waters near Cebaco Bay, Isla Coiba and Punta Mariato, a sport fisherman's paradise. Our specialty is popping and jigging Roosterfish, Snappers, Grouper, Amberjack, Corvina, Trevally and Tuna. Our catch also include Wahoo, Dorado, Cero Mackerel, Snook, Jacks, African Pompano, Pacific Sailfish and many more. Our fishing is standup in a 34 foot Super Panga, "Magoo", built and rigged at the lodge workshop.

We designed and custom built the Magoo, for maximum fishing comfort, versatility, and safety.
The Magoo has proven to be the perfect sport fishing platform for all the types of sport fishing that include high speed off shore trolling, close in popping, saltwater fly fishing, live baiting fishing and jigging.

We outfit two to four anglers, with an experienced fishing guide, high quality light/medium conventional fishing equipment and terminal tackle. Our goal is to provide our guests a package of great world class sport fishing, comfortable on shore facilities, and good home cooked meals, at the most reasonable price available.

Our all inclusive price for a minimum 2 angler package is $1000 total per day. Add $100 a day for each additional angler. $65 a day for non-fishing guests accompanying anglers. All packages includes double occupancy air conditioned rooms the night before and night of each fishing day, meals, local beverages, laundry service, 34 foot super-panga, guide, fishing equipment and terminal tackle.
